CommonUNITY Property

We help families get connected to what they need.

As Uinta County’s Family Resource Center, we connect people to the local support they need, from mental health and family services to everyday essentials and work. We also run hands-on career exploration for anyone figuring out what comes next.

Resources help families today, while the commonUNITY Experiential Career Game helps students build the lasting solution: a career.

The commonUNITY Experiential Career Game

The game focuses on four directions: Discover, Grow, Communicate, and Achieve.

Yellow

Discover

Explore your interests.

Students take CTE surveys and play games to discover their strengths, work style, interests, and goals.

Green

Grow

Build your skills.

Through experiential games and real life simulations, students learn the 12 career readiness skills.

Blue

Communicate

Connect with others.

Through engaging games and story building, students learn to communicate their strengths, goals, interests, and work style, listen to others, and speak professionally in the workplace.

Red

Achieve

Make the connection.

Students connect with local businesses and internship opportunities across the 14 CTE Career Clusters.

Together, the four directions connect students with real career opportunities across Uinta County.

HOPE • CONNECTIONS • SUPPORT

A community led coalition, hosted at commonUNITY Property, building the bridge between education and employment for young people in Uinta County.

Our Mission

To connect youth ages 16 to 20 with local providers, businesses, and resources that remove barriers to employment, empowering Uinta County's emerging workforce to obtain livable wage careers in fields they enjoy.

Why It Matters

Many young people in our community face real barriers, including a lack of experience and limited career exposure. When youth enter adulthood without a clear path forward, the cost is felt by families, businesses, and our community as a whole.

Our Vision

We envision a Uinta County where every young person enters adulthood with the skills, support, and opportunity to build a meaningful career. Through community led collaboration, we bridge the gap between education and employment to create a thriving workforce.

Prevention is at the heart of our work.

When people have meaningful work and the support they need, mental health improves and communities grow stronger and safer. By meeting needs early, we help prevent bigger challenges before they take root.
